VINTAGE Vintage clothing was sized differently than modern clothing. Due to this fact, we provide accurate measurements for each vintage piece in the individual listings. We also include an approximate modern size estimate (example: XS, S, M, L) in each vintage listing. A "One Size" estimate in a listing means that a garment fits "open" or "free".
Length of Item For all clothing this is the length of the entire garment. For example; a dress's length would be measured from the shoulder seam to the hem line.
Bust Measured under the arms at the fullest point of cup size.
Waist A vintage garment is laid flat and measured at the waist line of the piece and then doubled for the waist size. I
Inseam (IL) An inseam is the length from the crotch seam to the hem of the pant leg.
Front Rise (FR) From the centre waist to crotch.
